Broadsheet (272x178 mm) printed on recto only. Small repaired tear to the outer margin, otherwise very well preserved. The prices, date and signature of the Chancellor of the Wheat Office, Alberto Campana, are written by hand. With the woodcut arms of the city of Modena surrounded by the arms of the city's wheat office (“Praesides rei frumentariae”). Another manuscript note on the verso.
The broadside, which fixated the price of wheat, common bread and a special type of bread today called “coppia ferrarese”, was intended to be displayed outside Modena bakeries.
