Engraved frontispiece by Hubert Vincent after Antonio Caldani showing muses and putti holding a portrait of the dedicatee, Cardinal Francesco Barberini, surrounded by the usual Barberini bees, and [4], 80 pp. All pages framed within a large woodcut border. Contemporary cardboards covered in golden floral paper (worn and soiled, back recently reinforced). Small holes to the gutter of the frontispiece, worm track to the inner margin of the final three leaves slightly affecting the border.
Rare first edition, edited by Stefano Nicola Casale, who also signs the dedication to Cardinal Francesco Barberini, of this collection of poems celebrating the law graduation of Antonio Francesco Morroni, a nobleman from Fermo, in the Marche region, where the book was also lavishly printed.
