Coat of arms of the dedicatee, the dolphin of France, on the engraved title and on the headpiece above the dedication. Nicely bound in Dutch blind-tooled vellum over boards, inked title on spine, sprinkled edges. On the front pastedown bookplates of M. A.-G. du Plessis and P. de la Morandiere. Slightly uniformly browned, but a very good copy with good margins.

Rare edition, edited by the scholar Louis Desprez, of Juvenal' and Persius' Satires.
