Contemporary boards, spine reinforced in vellum, ink title on lower edge. Some browning, but a good, genuine copy with wide margins.

First edition (a second appeared in Bologna in 1682) of this treatise, divided into two parts, which belongs to the group of scientific works composed by this prolific author in the last years of his life. The work deals with various chemical and physical phenomena, including, marginally, wine and beer.
