Contemporary vellum over boards, double lettering piece on spine with gilt title and, at the foot, the initials “D.C.P.”, yellow edges. Worm tracks on the pastedowns, small worm hole on the last two leaves slightly touching the text, tear anciently repaired on the title page without loss, light damp stain to the outer upper corner of a group of leaves, all in all a good, genuine copy.

First collective edition of the works of the Verona physician Sebastiano Rotari, containing several medical opinions on specific cases, letters to colleagues, and various lectures.
