Dediction leaf in German and 26 engraved plates including the title page. Lacking the dedication leaf in French. Contemporary ownership's entry by the Spanish engineer Phelipe de Alcubierre. First edition. First and only published part, which includes plans and facades of noble residences and country houses, drawn by the well-known architect and surveyor J.D. Steingruber, who was head of  the Office of Court Buildings in Ansbach and played a decisive role in shaping the urban landscape, and engraved by Johann G. Ringlin. A folio volume (341x220 mm) which includes overall 100 architectural plates numbered by a contemporary hand. Contemporary half vellum, lettering piece on spine with the title and the letters “C” on top and the intials “GG” at the bottom in gilt, panels covered by colored paper, sprinkled edges. Worm tracks to the inner upper corner of the first 15 leaves and at the end of the volume affecting the engravings,  other worm tracks to the inner margin of some leaves, some browning and foxing, all in all a good, genuine copy.
