First edition, part of the "Quaderni d'oggi" series, no. 2. Thus Marinetti on his work (p. 5): “This is the book of a specialist. I am, in fact, the only poet who specializes in modern wars. Among the writers—poets or prose writers—who, by chance, sentiment, or fate, have dealt with battles, I am the only one who has dealt with them as a Futurist, that is, as one enamored of the cosmic phenomenon of War, considered not as something horrendous but as the sole hygiene of the world.
