4to (203x131 mm). Frontispiece with Remigio Nannino's portrait and title page engraved by Ferdinando Gregori after Giuseppe Zocchi, XII, 323, [1 blank] pp. Engraved head- and tailpieces. Contemporary marbled calf gilt, spine with five raised bands and lettering piece (joints weakened, corner and top and bottom of the spine a bit worn). Slightly uniformly browned.

Edited by Giusto Conti, who signs the dedication in verse to Frederick V of Denmark. Conti was professor of Italian at the Military School of France.
