SECOND EDITION containing some different plates from the first edition which appeared in 1622. The work describes 45 kinds of birds and several ways to catch them with net traps and to keep and cook them.

The plates are signed by Antonio Tempesta, Francesco Villamena and Vincenzo Leonardi. The edition was promoted by the great antiquarian and art collector Cassiano dal Pozzo, whose arms are depicted on the title-page.
