Exceptional document recording the sale of a 18-year old Tartar female slave, called Cita. The seller Guizzardo di Giovanni da San Silvestro, a Ferrara citizen living in Modena, sells her to Alessandro Tassoni, who acquires her on behalf of his father Giovanni. Both Giovanni and Alessandro are identified as citizens of Modena. The slave is described as healthy both internally and externally. The sum paid is indicated in 37 golden ducats. The transaction is supervised by a few witnesses and is ratified by a notary, Antonio di Simone de' Daineri.
